Beyond 50 Radio Talk Showcases Recovery International (RI) Success Stories

RI LAUNCHES A SERIES OF INTERVIEWS AND MENTAL HEALTH DISCUSSIONS ON INTERNET RADIO

Below are a series of twice-annual talks regarding mental health and nervous conditions in the world today. The talks are also available on www.Beyond50radio.com, and www.annualoregon.com. Web radio is a system that allows you to listen to a broadcast conveniently, as often as desired. Please tell friends and neighbors who are nervous people about these talks and web sites.

In this first discussion, we are reminded that Dr. Abraham Low, a neuropsychiatrist who invented this system 1937,  would say that the situation in America today is almost guaranteed to give people either one or two or both kinds of temper. Angry temper is when we judge everything outside our body– people, things, places, time, and fearful temper is when we judge ourselves. And when it comes to a nervous person, those two tempers can cause destruction.

This interview discusses the damage that mental health stigma can cause nervous people. In recovery what we say about nervous or mental challenges is this: they are fate-appointed. Nobody asked for it and nobody is to blame for it. So blaming and shaming, which is what the root cause of mental health stigma is, is a denial of a person’s right to have their own unique neurological condition without stigma or judgment. So to us neural equality is what’s trending.

This broadcast presents discussions about the need for mental health aids. “People need mental health recovery if they are suffering symptoms and they can’t find relief, they can’t find peace so that their nervous system can recover and heal. So at our RI meeting participants learn to identify and manage negative thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors that can lead to emotional distress and related physical symptoms.”

This explains the purpose and mission or RI, a company that’s been around for more than 79 years which has pioneered a new form of mental health aid peer-based self-will training. We are positioning ourselves to help one million people begin, or continue their mental health recovery. Just imagine the impact that could have on people everywhere wherever people are stigmatized.

THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT RI ON WEB RADIO —
